"I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious."

Meet the Artist
Adam Reinstein is a Minneapolis-based photographer whose creative journey began long before he ever picked up a camera, as a kid with a pencil, sketchpad, and an endless imagination. What started with drawing and evolved into painting has now found its expression through photography, where his images carry a distinct, painterly quality that sets his work apart.
Adam’s photography is driven by his deep love of nature and the emotional soul behind each shot. He’s not just capturing what something looks like, he’s capturing what it feels like. Through careful attention to light, texture, and color, he invites viewers to pause and connect with the quiet beauty often hidden in plain sight.
But photography is just one chapter in Adam’s colorful life story. He’s been a hot air balloon pilot, mastered the unicycle, performed improv comedy with the Brave New Workshop, and broke new ground as the first acupuncturist in the U.S. to practice in an emergency room setting. His unique mix of curiosity, compassion, and creativity shows up in everything he does.
At home, Adam finds joy in tending his garden, sharing life with his inspiring and supportive wife, and doting on their two beloved dogs; Izzy the spirited Norwich Terrier and Lainey the gentle Rottweiler. He especially treasures trips to his wife’s home country of Canada, where time spent on the shores of Lake Superior at Fort William First Nation brings deep reflection, connection, and inspiration.
